Every krone, in black and white
When we say your contribution goes to Kemoto in full, you shouldn't have to take our word for it. Here are our open books: what has been raised, what it has been spent on, and the receipt number behind every single purchase. Last updated 26 March 2026.
Where the money comes from
Fundraising happens through online crowdfunding, direct contributions and talks about the voyage to The Gambia. Everything goes into one shared fund used solely for the projects in Kemoto.
| Source | Amount |
|---|---|
| The GoFundMe campaign | NOK 79,050 |
| Direct contributions, talks and private fundraisers | NOK 41,206 |
| Raised in total | NOK 120,256 |
Contributions via Vipps to #59419 go into the fund in full. On GoFundMe, the platform deducts 2.9 % plus 0.30 dollars per donation, and also suggests an automatic 17.5 % «tip» which you can set to zero yourself with «enter custom tip».
